HELP WITH SAVING AND OPENING FILES

My PCs etc. are always monitored by fully paid up AVG anti virus. Fussy Google now insists you give permission to show my perfectly safe MHT files produced my MS Word, this does NOT apply when using Firefox or of course Internet Explorer.

To save WMV Videos or MP3 / WMA / MID Music files use Windows Media Player with its File / Save while the file is being run as below. Vista and Win 7 may ask you to install WMP the first time it is used, if it has not been activated before. Any pages involving only text should allow you to just highlight the text then use COPY, than use PASTE in WordPad, Word or Notepad etc. Otherwise use File in such as Internet Explorer to save the page and images as a MHT or complete a HTM web page. Likewise a right click on any image / photo should allow you to save a copy. Always note where anything is saved such as in Documents to find it later. If all else fails you are welcome to ask me for a a copy of one or two, so long as you do not send them back to me for showing again.

IF YOU ARE USING WINDOWS

Although I often use PDF files, if you find Firefox will not show the MHT files I sometimes use, the latest version of Firefox allows you to always opt to revert to Windows Internet Explorer just to run MHT files.
Otherwise download a patch from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/unmht/

Likewise revert to Windows Media Player to play the MIDi and MP3 file available each day.

Beware some of these from Microsoft such as the MS PPS viewer will not work with Windows 7 & 8 so download Free LibreOffice
